WHAT TO EXPECT

At Sevin Design, every project begins with a conversation. We take time to understand your home, lifestyle, aesthetic preferences, practical needs, investment parameters, and vision for the project. From there, we establish a thoughtful design direction and a clear framework for moving forward.

Throughout the creative process, we develop and present carefully considered concepts that may include space plans, furniture layouts, finish selections, lighting, cabinetry details, textiles, furnishings, and custom design elements. Each selection is considered individually and as part of the larger composition so that the completed home feels cohesive, balanced, and intentional.

Once the design direction is approved, we organize the details required to carry the vision forward. Depending upon the scope of your project, this may include specifications, product schedules, procurement, communication with builders and trades, site meetings, order management, delivery coordination, and installation oversight.

We remain closely involved as the project progresses, answering questions, helping resolve design-related decisions, and protecting the integrity of the overall vision. Our purpose is to bring experience, organization, and discernment to a complex process so that you can move forward with greater confidence.

Founder & Principal Designer

 Sarah Sevin

Sarah Sevin is the founder and principal designer of Sevin Design, a Northern Michigan interior design studio specializing in thoughtful, timeless residential interiors.

Educated at Harrington College of Design in Chicago, Sarah brings a practiced eye for proportion, material, color, and composition to every project. Her approach combines refined design with an understanding of how homes must function in everyday life.

Known for her attentive and highly personal approach, Sarah believes the design process should begin with listening. She works closely with each client to create interiors that honor the home’s architecture, reflect the client’s individuality, and remain relevant for years to come.

Through Sevin Design, Sarah offers full-service interior design, renovation and new-construction consultation, furnishings and procurement, virtual design, and focused design consultations for clients seeking experienced, thoughtful guidance.

Based in Harbor Springs, Sevin Design serves clients throughout Northern Michigan and beyond.
